The new E class Coupe’s design has been well talked about since the first images were released. Its design has taken a lot of inspiration from both the C-Class and S-Class models, making the E-Class the cross between the two. To keep with the Mercedes theme, it still has the pillar-less doors and LED light to keep the style in tune with the Upmarket appearance that Mercedes wish to portray.
The interior doesn’t differ too much from the saloon counter-part, with the optional two high-res 12.3-inch screens to fulfill the interior with the widescreen infotainment system and display.
For the market launch, the E Class Coupe will be available one diesel and three petrol variant models. The standard Coupe will be the E220d, which Mercedes feel will be the most popular Coupe model for the release. With a 2 liter, four-cylinder engine which can manage an impressive 0-62mph in 7.4 seconds, the standard E Class Coupe is looking beyond impressive so far.
However… Mercedes have revealed the E400 4MATIC will be the headliner for the release. With a whopping 3.0 Litre V6 engine, four-wheel drive, and firing the Coupe from 0-62mph in 5.3 seconds it’s no wonder this will be the executive choice.
