Acceptance of order – our contract
When you place an order on our website, you will view an order confirmation page and receive an order confirmation email from Dreams Auto Shop. This page and email confirms the receipt of your order and its details; they do not form a contract to a sale at this point. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase product/products, which is accepted by us at the point when we debit your card and dispatch the goods to you.
COD (Cash on Delivery; pay cash when product/s is/are delivered to you)
All orders are subject to confirmation from Dreams Auto and have upper limit of LKR 200,000 per order. Our customer service will contact you to confirm the Order. You cannot cancel the order or refuse to pay when the product/s are delivered to you after your confirmation.
Any variation in upper limit is at the discretion of Dreams Auto Private Limited.
When you place an order on our website please make sure that your Account address is the address your credit/debit card is registered to. Your card authorization process is checked against your Account address and if it is not correct your card will be declined and your order delayed until we receive the correct details from you.
In the event of a stock unavailability Dreams Auto will inform the customer within 3 working days, and the payment can be refunded within 10 working days.
Customer acknowledges and agrees that the only remedy available for unavailability of product is the refund of the money paid or to hold the money until the next shipment.
Try as we might, there may be occasions when a product will be mispriced on our website. Please be assured that we verify prices as part of our despatch procedure. If a product’s correct price is lower than advertised on our site you will be charged the lower price. If a product’s correct price is higher than advertised on our site, we will, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before despatch or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation. Prices currently include taxes at the prevailing rate where applicable.
We currently despatch products to addresses in Sri Lanka only.
Our standard period of delivery will be within 2-3 working days from the date of placing the order. A despatch email will be sent when goods leave our warehouse.If any delays occur for any reason we will let you know. Dreams Auto cannot be held liable for any delays by the courier companies. All quoted delivery times are based on standard working days i.e. Mon – Fri (excluding public holidays etc).
Products available for immediate pickup
In relation to, the products available for immediate pickup, the Customer may opt either for pick up from Dreams Auto Private Limited, 17/2, Rosmead Place, Coolombo 07 or for delivery. The delivery of the product is performed by Dreams Auto or a courier appointed by Dreams Auto as an additional service subject to the delivery terms.
The title of, the products available for immediate pickup, shall pass to the Customer at the time of the payment.
Delivery of Products
Products must be checked thoroughly before accepting. If the product is damaged or, any signs of being used, you must immediately inform the delivery person and not accept the product. If you accept we consider that the product was in good condition and returns/ refund requests will not be accepted by Dreams Auto Private Limited. Please ensure to check your ordered product/s for any physical damages prior to accepting the delivery. Please do not accept delivery if there are any damages.
- Dreams Auto will not be liable for goods which are damaged in transit if the Proof of Delivery (POD) is signed and the goods are accepted.
- Please pick up products ordered under the ‘Pick Up’ option within 2 weeks from the specified product available date for pick up.
We accept most major credit and debit cards and process payment at the point an order placed.
